SCFLTA is thrilled to partner with the Columbia International Festival to help South Carolinians to "see, taste, and experience the world." We join the festival organizers and participants in celebrating the people, languages, and cultures from all around the world that call South Carolina home.

Stop by the SCFLTA table at the festival or visit the ACTFL website to learn more about ACTFL's advocacy initiative, "I Am My Language." This initiative affirms and celebrates the roles of languages in our individual and community identities. We will have a selfie station at the festival or you can take part by sharing a selfie that includes #IAmMyLanguage in your languages AND tagging @SCFLTA on your social media!

Important Membership Announcement
On August 23rd, 2025, the SCFLTA Board voted to change the membership calendar to align with traditional school year calendars. This change was made to streamline memberships, create uniformity in membership dates, and make it easier for members to keep track of their memberships, especially if schools pay for professional memberships.
SCFLTA is offering a Spring membership offer! Join or renew today and your membership will be valid until July 31, 2027!
