Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year Rebecca Xiaolin Feng!

Mrs. Feng
Rebecca Xiaolin Feng
Chinese / AP Chinese Teacher
National Chinese Honor Society RBHS Chapter Supervisor
Mrs. Feng has taught high school Chinese in Lexington One for 7 years. She started the River Bluff Chinese Club in 2016 which still runs today. Mrs. Feng has also organized annual celebrations for several Chinese festivals, collaborated with other classes (Orchestra, Multimedia, Spanish, French) for course projects or festival celebrations, and fundraised for China Travel for students every year.
       Mrs. Feng
also helped students fundraise for their China Partner School during Covid-19 and donated facial masks and thermometers to the partner school. Another aspect of her willingness to bring in the community to the classroom is through organizing workshops and lectures on martial arts, the Chinese college experience, and a visit from the SC Department of Commerce.
