Where did summer go?!? Whether you spent time relaxing or preparing for the new school year, I hope you feel refreshed and recharged for a new school year. Earlier this year, we rebranded as the South Carolina Fellowship of Language Teachers and Advocates. This had been a goal for our board for a few years because we felt it was important to take the "foreign" out of language teaching and learning in our state. We wanted to celebrate all paths to multilingualism and multiculturalism while supporting language teachers at all levels in South Carolina. My deepest appreciation and gratitude goes to Dr. Jason Bagley-Cooler for his leadership in refreshing our vision for SCFLTA. In continuing with the spirit of refreshing and renewal, we will be sharing some new features on this site throughout the year. Please check back often and let us know what you think!
